Bring Your Own Botanicals Soap Class

Join us at Olio Skin & Beard Co. inside The Neighborhood Hive located at 2065 E 2100 S, SLC for a create your own soap making workshop!

During this workshop you will be given the instructions, use of tools and ingredients to make 1.5 of your own batch of soap to take home to use, or gift.  If you would like to make more than 1.5lb of soap, email to arrange Jennifer@olioskin.com

Please bring 1/4 cup of botanicals or herbs to put in your soap.  Some of that material will be steeped into the soap and some of it will be ground and go into the soap to give a speckled look.

We will be using Olio's Double Butter recipe.  Ingredients are: Liquid, Sodium Hydroxide (Lye), Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Avocado Oil, Castor Oil.  These butters and oils make a well rounded, sudsy bar of soap that is very hydrating.  

No recipe will be given at this class.  This is a hands on workshop where you will be choosing a scent and a color.
