Create Your Own Kombucha Cold Process Soap Friday, 3/28/25

Join us at HK Brewing Collective Taproom & Bar, Friday, March 28th, 2pm, located at 370 W Aspen Ave, SLC to participate in this create your own kombucha soap making workshop, using Hans Kombucha.

Arrive at 2pm ready to engage and connect with your community. Find and Check in with Jennifer, owner of Olio. This workshop comes with one cup of kombucha from the taproom. Grab yourself a cup of your Han's Kombucha and make your way to the workshop area.

During this workshop you will be given the instructions, use of tools and ingredients to make 1.5 of your own batch of soap to take home to use, or gift.  If you would like to make more than 1.5lb of soap, email to arrange Jennifer@olioskin.com

We will be using Olio's Olive Oil Castile soap recipe.  Ingredients are: Hans Kombucha, Sodium Hydroxide (Lye), Olive Oil.  This combination of oil and kombucha make a well rounded, sudsy bar of soap that is very hydrating.

This is a hands on workshop where you will be choosing a scent and a color. You will be given the recipe we use. 21 years of age and older.

Please wear closed toe shoes and long sleeves.

Details: This workshop will last approximately 1.5 hrs

           Minimum age requirement is 21 years old. We work with Sodium Hydroxide (lye) so please wear long sleeves and closed toe shoes. 

Cancellation policy: Please give 7 days notice for any cancellations. Classes not cancelled will be charged in full for the class.
